This Weekend In Music

I don't know what to do with myself this weekend.  The 6 Points Music Festival is bringing a plethora of musical options.  Do I follow the march of Columbia Heightsians down 14th to see indie-tastic Army of Me at the Cat on Friday night?  Or will my inner fratboy lead me out to the State to see Emmet Swimming?  On Saturday will my praeternatural affinity for jambands take me to 930 to see the hippy festival that is the Derek Trucks Band?  Or will I be drawn to the mesmerizing crooning of my favorite DC band Monopoli at DC9?

Okay, those are loaded questions.  It's obvy Army of Me on Friday and Monopoli on Saturday.  To boot, Hello Tokyo, with their blogtastically titled album " OMG I <3 teh internets!!," will be playing with Monopoli.  Rock out with your rooster out.  And as if that weren't enough, Mousetrap and Bluestate will be competing for the dancing scenester vote at the Cat on Saturday, main stage and back stage, respectively.

Any one who references Bjork must be cool, no?

What's the Bjork reference? I ***loathe*** Bjork. No other voice will send me into a fit of rage like hers will. I would rather listen to a cat being fed into a wood chipper.
