Everything's Coming Up Rambler

1.  Monopoli was fucking awesome last night.  I haven't seen them in probably 6 months, and they've definitely gotten better.  I like the new material also.  Word is that the album has been recorded and is now being mixed.  Possible CD release party in June.

2.  I sat through an entire show at the Cat while drinking and did not smoke a single cigarette.  This was a milestone for me, believe it or not.

3.  I got up early enough to eat breakfast today and be at work before nine.  That, folks, is a miracle.

4.  Walter is meeting a potential adopter tonight.  It will be good for him to be in a home with someone who isn't gone 15 hours a day.

5.  Yeah, this post sucks, and it's probably all you're going to get for today.   I'm in a good mood, so it will probably be late evening before the bitterness returns.

No, I can't. I like it when Giddy Rambler appears every once in a blue moon. Just don't stay too long.

What, you mean a steady drip of morphine? Part of it may be delerium - even though I got to work early, I did it at the expense of 4 hours of sleep.

Glad you are in a good mood. I am sure that will change if Walter leaves you. That will be sad.

Walter has been a lot of responsibility, and I will be happier knowing the ultimately he will be happier. I spend too much time at work.

I can't wait for the "very special episode" where Walter says his goodbyes, and you run a montage of your months together. Set to music, of course.

It's a pity you're losing Walter. What a cute dog. If you're not home for spending time with him, then you're right in finding him a new family. You've been a good foster parent to him and took him during a very rough phase of his life.

you should lock him in a really small cage all day so he will learn to be happy when you gget home from work.
