Pour One Out

Fox and Hound got rid of their jukebox.  A two top now occupies that hallowed space, and one of those vile internet jukes now hangs itself on the wall with a noose of etherrope.  Where am I going to go to here Pavement in a public space?  Where, I say?  Let's just burn this city now, because it's going to hell in the HOV.

NOOO!!!! I loved that jukebox! Sure, there were random bits of hipness, but there would also be those odd moments when something hip and cool would be immediately followed by "Sister Christian" or something. Those are peculiarly Fox anad Hound memories--they have their own awesome soundtrack.

What? No! That was my favorite jukebox in all of DC. Fuckers.

I will issue a replacement jukebox filled with selections from Journey and Boston.

What's so bad about the internet jukeboxes? Can't you just download your pavement?

This is a tragedy! I have been going to the Hounds ever since I moved to DC 7 years ago and the jukebox was by far the greatest in the city (if not world).

To answer the previous post, yes, you can still listen to Pavement and Guided By Voices, but since they're not part of the main jukebox selections, you have to use twice the amount of credits.

The other night, my friends and I were subjected to Matchbox 20 and Creed, or some such torturous bands.

We need to petitition to get the glowball digital crapbox removed!!! Maybe the owner still has the old one upstairs???

I really don't have time to explain why jukes define a bar. If you don't get it, I can't help you.
