Rambler Roundup: Post Election High Edition

 • The 2006 mid-term election is so hot that it won't stop. Virginia is poised go all Jan Brady on us and continue this attention whoring well into December.
 • Mid-term elections are the new black. End-term elections are, like, so 2004.
 • Ballmer Mayor Martin O'Malley takes the governorship from Erlich. This fortells a bright future for Mayor-Elect Tommy Carcetti.
 • DC election results: basically a big yawn.
 • Arizona to gays: We don't NOT like you.
 • Michigan, ever the battleground in affirmative action admission policies, scraps them altogether.
 • Nevada: Gambling and prostitution still okay, but they'll be damned if you can possess up to an ounce of weed.
 • Nancy Pelosi speaker of the house? Oh, crap, maybe the Dems didn't think this all the way through. Why does the voice of the democrats have to be so annoying. What, you couldn't get Fran Drescher?

Georgia is amending it's constitution to say that hunting and fishing are important.

In case anyone thought I was joking:

Georgia Amendment II: Fishing and hunting. The tradition of fishing and hunting and the taking of fish and wildlife shall be preserved for the people and shall be managed by law and regulation for the public good.

that's awesome...that's exactly my point in the other post.

i strongly suggest that dems take this approach in every election cycle. i for one want to make sure that my right to masterbate is safely protected for myself and for the public good.
